BullsEye Telecom to Support Two Local Radiothons
BullsEye will lend its expertise to Detroit Dog Rescue’s first-ever radiothon on November 16, and will support Mitch Albom’s SAY Detroit Radiothon on December 6 for the fifth consecutive year
Southfield, MI – BullsEye Telecom, the leading national multi-location communications solutions provider, will be supporting the radiothons of two local nonprofit organizations by establishing temporary cloud-based, VoIP contact centers to ensure that optimal infrastructure is in place to aid with fundraising efforts. The support being provided is part of the company’s “BullsEye Cares” initiative that focuses on helping those in need in and around Detroit.
The first radiothon, broadcasted by 96.3 WDVD, takes place on November 16 at Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield and will support Detroit Dog Rescue in its efforts to create a state-of-the-art, no-kill animal center in Detroit. This will be the first-ever radiothon held by the organization.
The second radiothon will be broadcasted by WJR 760-AM on December 6 from The Somerset Collection in Troy to support SAY Detroit, an organization that aims to improve the lives of Detroit’s neediest citizens through shelter, food, medical care, volunteer efforts and education. The radiothon is hosted by Mitch Albom, who founded SAY Detroit in 2006. Now in its fifth consecutive year of supporting the event, BullsEye has helped the organization collect more than $4 million for the neediest citizens of Detroit.
Teams of BullsEye engineers and experts will be deployed to each of the locations one day prior to the events to install the contact centers (“The BullsEye Contact Center”) from scratch. The BullsEye Contact Center will include:
- Best-in-class hardware running behind the scenes operations
- Cloud-based IP-PBX telephony
- Polycom VVX 410 phones with full touchscreen, color displays and HD voice capabilities
- Call queuing technology to allow simultaneous calls to be receive, queued and managed
- Real-time contact center activity monitoring and reporting via the Contact Center Supervisor app
- Engineering support before, during and after the events
“As a company, we firmly believe in promoting an environment of giving and providing support to those in need,” said Susanne Hite, director of marketing for BullsEye Telecom. “We are honored to lend our expertise to both of these radiothons that are supporting wonderful organizations and causes.”
